Not so. If she was" feeding only" I wouldn't mind if there was a sizable fine to be donated to the local neutering program. I figure by feeding only, you are enabling kitties to do what nature has them prewired to do, REPRODUCE. I have been trapping /neutering for 20+ years, one at a time, except for the time I got 2 at once! It has been an exciting and happy pastime to help the homeless cats. I cannot help but love them all, I'm prewired! Where i live near Kingston, Ontario they 1st charge approx; 50.00 dollar fee just for walking in their door and then charge by the pound to get your animal fixed...So anyone with a large breed dog..say 100 pounds...your looking at 300.00 dollars or more....It cost me 220.00 dollars plus taxes of course, 2 and half years ago to get my 75 pound, 7 month old large breed pup neutered. More people would get their animals spayed and neutered if it didn't cost so much.....Some people may say,well if you own an animal then you should pay and be responsible,regardless of cost....But this a double sided sword...Either put food on the table,pay your heat , hydro ,rent,or christmas gifts for your kids etc....or pay to get your animal fixed..Most choose to pay their utlities.
