SNKI has partnered with Conscious Businesses in the Kingston Community for our Give Your Change Drive. These gracious business owners and organizations have agreed to host our donation boxes so that their customers can help contribute to change we seek.
Every penny counts. SNKI pays for all the veterinary costs of our intakes and provides special dietary supplies, when available, to our foster and colony programs. Featured above is wee kitten Tatziki. Without intervention, she would have perished, alone and sick. She still has a battle ahead of her and was rescued in May 2018 as SNKI and another rescue organization work side by side to stabilize a colony of 50+ cats. This sort of population explosion happens when there’s a lack of a low-cost, high-volume spay neuter clinic/mobile unit in our community. It’s our hope that together we can raise awareness for this need and start tackling the problem of pet overpopulation at its source.
